Mrs. Yojana Liceth Solares, age 57, of Loganville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Mrs. Solares was a woman of deep Christian faith. She enjoyed cooking, helping others, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the center of her world. Yojana was humble, brave, and strong. She will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.
Mrs. Solares is survived by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Byron Solares of Loganville; children, Helen Orellana (Jose Umazor) of Loganville, Byron (Miruna) Solares of Loganville, Madelyne Solares (Cesar) Ulate of Jefferson, Rollyn Solares (Erika Martinez) of Winder, and Melissa Solares (Samuel Canada Jr.) of Duluth; mother, Maria Esperanza Escobar Medrano of Guatemala; two brothers, two sisters, and twelve grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Melendez officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted for the funeral service. The family respectfully request to honor Yojana's wishes by not wearing black to the service. She enjoyed beautiful colors.
