Walter Myron Brock

Mr. Walter Myron Brock, age 80, of Winder, Georgia died Wednesday, June 24, 2015. A native of Winder, Georgia he was preceded by his Daughter Yvonne Colquett Cooper in 1984, parents Henry and Willie Mae McGaughey Brock, three Brothers and one Sister. A Navy veteran, Mr. Brock delivered bread for Sunbeam many years before retiring from Flowers Bakery in 1997.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Murrell and Pastor Greg Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Winder. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Surviving are wife of 59 years Mae Opal Brock of Winder, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sharon Eileen & John Anderson of Plant City, FL, Montye Marie & Steve Player of Lake Park, FL, Son & Daughter-in-law, Steven & Amy Colquett of Winder, Daughters, Nancy Leigh Colquett of Winder, Bridget Lace Louis of Winder, Brother & Sister-in-law, Randy & Myra Brock of Winder, 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
