Thomas "Freddie" Ferguson

Mr. Thomas “Freddie” Ferguson, age 68, of Winder, Georgia passed away September 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Athens, Georgia, November 20, 1953, and was a son of the late Fred and Gayle Mobley Ferguson. Freddie had resided in Barrow County for all of his life and attended Statham Baptist Church as a child. He also attended Statham Elementary School and was a member of the 1971 Class of Winder-Barrow High School. He had served in the United States Army National Guard and was a retiree of Johns-Manville Fiberglass Manufacturing. Freddie was an avid University of Georgia Bulldog Fan, a fan of the Atlanta Braves, and often joked that he bled “Red and Black.”

Surviving are Wife, Beverly Bonner Ferguson, Son, Thomas “Chip” Ferguson, Grandson, Thomas James Ferguson, Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Andy and Debbie Ferguson, Kevin and Brenda Ferguson, Sister and Brother-in-law, Lisa and Mike Drake, Brother, Mitch Ferguson.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
