Terrell Sailors

Mr. Terrell Sailors, age 79, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2028, at his beloved farm, with his loving wife by his side.

Mr. Sailors was a member of Pentecost Global Methodist Church. He retired from Woodman of the World Life Insurance Company. He was an avid fisherman and hunter that enjoyed being outdoors with his sons and friends. He also enjoyed reading in his spare time. Terrell was well known in the Barrow County community especially for his larger-than-life personality and his love for making others laugh. Mr. Sailors will be best remembered by his family as a loving husband, wonderful father, and proud grandfather.

Mr. Sailors was preceded in death by his parents; Chet and Dink Sailors.

Mr. Sailors is survived by his wife of 52 years; Gayle Edgar Sailors of Winder; sons, Ryan (Samantha) Sailors of Winder and Michael Sailors of Winder; and two twin granddaughters, Sydney and Alice Sailors both of Winder.

The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Terrell Sailors will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Hinson officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home.
