Susan Moore Martin

Mrs. Susan Moore Martin, age 80, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Martin was a lifelong member of Statham Methodist Church. She retired from State Farm Insurance as an office manager with Pam Veader's State Farm office in Winder. Susan will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Martin; parents, John Kurtz Moore and Annie Hugh Moore; and sister, Gloria Moore Stapleton.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Amy (Tim) Harrell of Winder; grandson, Jackson Martin Harrell of Winder; a host of nieces and nephews, and three cherished cats, Dooney, Bourke, and Gracie.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Gilstrap officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service.
