Mrs. Sue Duncan, age 62, of Arnoldsville, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Mrs. Duncan loved her family and Jesus dearly. She will be best remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Sue served in the medical field for over 30 years and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church of Athens. Mrs. Duncan had a strong Christian faith. She held the verse of Psalm 46:10 dear to her heart, βHe says, Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.β
Mrs. Duncan is preceded in death by her parents; James and Juanita Lawson; and siblings, Debbie Helton, Sandy Bryant, and Cindy Williams.
Mrs. Duncan is survived by her loving husband of 44 years; Wayne Duncan of Arnoldsville; daughters, Shannon (Joel) Kaye of Athens and Jessica (Tim) Raymond of Winder; and six grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, and Ezra Kaye, Logan Hough, Colby Raymond, and Lucas Raymond.
A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mrs. Sue Duncan will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
