Mr. Stacey Ray Ferguson, age 58, of Winder, passed away suddenly on May 20, 2023.
Mr. Ferguson was a truck driver by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Ray Ferguson and Dorothy Akins Ferguson; brother, Stanley Ferguson; and a special niece, Julie Jacks.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his children; Stephanie Ferguson of Winder, Kori Kilgore of Buford, and Kolby Ferguson of Winder; siblings, Becky Bates of Ooltewah, TN, Nancy Ferguson of Winder, and Jon Ferguson of Winder; and seven grandchildren, Kally, Shay, and Jax Spence, Jadien and Katie Simmons and Haley and JC Kilgore.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Winder. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
