Mrs. Shirley C. Peters, age 66, of Winder, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. A daughter of the late Herschel and Eva Wallace Willoughby, Mrs. Peters was former owner of Southern Shears in Winder and a member of Midway Christian Church in Winder.
Surviving are husband of 48 years Nathan Peters of Winder, Son and Daughter-in-law, Rod and Bobye Ann Peters of Winder, Brother Jimmy Willoughby of Statham, Grandsons, Hunter Peters and Fisher Peters.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Rev. John Burchfield will officiate. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 8 P. M. and on Tuesday from 12 – 2 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Midway Christian Church.
