Mr. Scott Thornton, age 50, of Winder, Georgia died July 27, 2016. Born in Winder, Georgia, he had lived here for most of his life. He was a former employee of McDaniel Concrete Products, and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was preceded by His Step-Mother, Lillian Thornton.
Surviving are Daughters, Katie McFarland of Smith's Station, Alabama, and Kerianne Thornton of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Grandson, Axel Clayton Evans, Mother, Anne McDaniel of Rayle, Georgia, Father, Donald Thornton of Winder, Georgia, Brother, Mickey Thornton of Williston, Florida and Sister, Kathy Cater of Ball Ground, Georgia.
The Family will receive friends Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6-9 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. from the funeral home chapel with Mr. Mickey Thornton officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
