Mr. Sayral "Skeeter" Bryant, age 85 of Winder, Georgia died Saturday, July 16, 2016. A son of the late Lilius and Mary Maddox Bryant, He is preceded by his wife of 56 years Runelle Alice Swancey Bryant in 2006 and a grandson Jonny Skinner in 2010. A US Air Force Veteran, Mr. Bryant was a member of First Baptist of Winder. He was the former owner of Nu-Way Ice, former Captain of Civil Defense of Barrow County and a licensed pilot and scuba diver.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Strickland officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jenning's Mill Road, Watkinsville, GA 30549.
Surviving are: Daughters and Sons-in-law – Connie and Larry Ward of Hartwell, Gwen and Anthony Massey of Jefferson, Brother and Sister-in-law – Robert and Jean Bryant of Braselton, Four Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren also survive.
