Mrs. Runette Stewart Smith, age 88, of Winder, Georgia passed away October 11, 2016 at her residence. Born in Braselton, Georgia on September 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Martha Banks Stewart. Mrs. Smith was preceded by her Husband of 61 years, W. Joe Smith and her Brother, Gene Stewart. Mrs. Smith was a long time member of Bethabra Baptist Church.
Surviving are Children, David L. and Myrna Smith, Susan and Wilbur Burton all of Winder, Four Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren and One Great Great
Grandchild.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 6-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
