Mr. Ronald Larry Nelson, age 63, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22,2021 at his residence.
Ron was a man of an unending passion for everything and everyone. Even at the end, he stayed true to himself, continued caring for all around him, and kept his promise of eternal love to his loved ones until his very last breaths. Everyone could see how strong and bright he was at a glance. Through his fight with cancer, he has shown how deeply strong a person he was, compassionate, and unyielding nature he always possessed. He never stopped loving all of us.
Ron never stopped working on the endless ideas in his mind. He never stopped living his life on the go. Ron was always on the way to see places and to do things.
Whether it be camping, hunting, fishing, shrimping or a car show Ron was always on a way to enjoy it. His energy was contagious, and everyone enjoyed his favorite things in Ron's company. He loved his friends' company and was always looking forward to seeing and doing things together. Ron had so much love for everyone that he just had to share. He’s shared this love with everyone around him.
His love for life is one of the many beautiful qualities bestowed upon him. He passionately loved nature and appreciated every little detail the world has to offer: the sound of the wind, the crackling of the fire, the lightning, the rainbow, the beautiful sunny days, and most of all the calming sound of the rain. We hope we will all remember these important details. Whenever it rains, remember Ron.
Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Cary Nelson.
Mr. Nelson is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Mrs. Yulia Nelson of Auburn; step-children, Ratislav and Sabina both of Auburn, siblings, Don and Robert Nelson both of Florida; grandchild, Alice of Auburn; son-in-law, Timothy Bankert of Auburn; and a host of friends also survives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior the service at Carter Funeral Home.
