Richard Eugene Hopkins Jr.

Mr. Richard Eugene Hopkins, Jr., age 62, of Barrow County, passed away October 31, 2021. He was born March 18, 1959 to the late Gene and Lois Craft Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins was a member of The Winder First United Methodist Church and was employed with Windstream Telecommunications. He was a member of Statham Masonic Lodge #634 F. & A. M. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, dirt bike racing and hunting, he also maintained his own duck habitat.

Surviving are wife, Sharon O’Neal Hopkins, children, Jason Richard Hopkins and Jeremy Blake Hopkins, grandchildren, Alexis, Ramey and Taylor Hopkins, Brother and Sister-in-law, Rusty and Susan Hopkins.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 5, 2021 from 12:00 P. M. until 2:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P. M. in the funeral home chapel. Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
