Mr. Ray Johnson, age 66, of Winder, Georgia passed away at his residence June 7, 2022. A native and lifelong resident of Barrow County he was a son of the late Jim and Cansada Maddox Johnson. Ray was preceded by his wife, Susie Cable Johnson and siblings, Winford Johnson, Donnie Johnson and Jack Johnson. He was a retiree of Turk Poultry Service.
Surviving are Sons, Jim Johnson, J. R. Johnson, Lee Johnson and Travis Johnson, Grandchildren, Alyssa M. Johnson and Jack R. Johnson, Sisters, Jean Wilbanks and Pat House, Brothers, Larrell Johnson and Mitch Johnson.
The Family will receive friends Sunday, June 12 from 11:00 A. M. until 2:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P. M., Sunday June 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Rupert officiating. Interment will be in the Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.
