Peggy Sauls Hewatt

Mrs. Peggy Sauls Hewatt, age 80, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, formerly of Winder gained her wings January 10, 2021. Peggy was born March 15, 1940 in Winder, Georgia to the late G. W. and Louise Wheeler Sauls. She was a 1957 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School and was the former director of the Barrow County Emergency Management Agency. Peggy was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, where she attended the Dove Sunday School Class.

Surviving are Husband, Rev. Ronald Hewatt of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Children, Sherry (Stephen) Walden of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Davy (Tammy) Brown of Bethlehem, Georgia and Dana (Robin) Brown of Winder, Georgia, Step-sons, Ronnie (Karen) Hewatt of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Phil (Debbie) Hewatt of Winder, Georgia, Twelve Grandchildren and a number of Great Grandchildren, Siblings, Tommy (Linda) Sauls of Statham, Georgia, Faye (Jimmy) Manders, Linda (Tommy) Roberts both of Winder, Georgia and Patsy (Don) Long of Rome, Georgia.

The Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 12 Noon until 2:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Dr. Rusty Newman officiating. Interment will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
