Ms. Patsy Harris Shope, age 75 of Jefferson, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Ms. Shope retired after thirty plus years of service in Lumber Sales with Williams Brother’s Lumber. After retirement, she loved her job at Jackson-Oaks Assisted Living where she made countless friends with the residents there. Ms. Shope was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In particular, she enjoyed watching her grandsons play baseball. Throughout her life, Patsy made lots of friends that she shared great memories with.
Ms. Shope is preceded in death by her parents, Tom Harris and Emma Harris.
Ms. Shope is survived by her children, Scott (Kerri) Shope of Winder and Steve (Kim) Shope of Rutledge; siblings, Billy Harris of McDonough, Donnie, Joe, and Phil Harris all of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Sadie, Blake, Evan, and Reid Shope; and three great-grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Shope will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Prospect Church Fellowship Hall, 6752 Hwy 212 N. Covington, GA 30016.
