Novene Still

Mrs. Novene Still, age 77, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Still retired as a seamstress from Carwood Manufacturing and R and R Manufacturing. Mrs. Still will be best remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Still is preceded in death by her parents; R.B. Williamson and Cornelia Smith Williamson.

Mrs. Still is survived by her husband of 54 years, James William Still; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Angie Still of Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Bill Weide of Jackson, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lynn Williamson of Lewisville, NC; and five grandchildren, Dominnick Still, Charlie Still, Ashli (Tyler) Pridgen, Faith Weide, and Alli Weide.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home.
