Ms. Sherri Jo Buzick

Ms. Sherri Jo Buzick, age 52, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at her residence.

Sherri Jo Buzick was the perfect mother, daughter, and friend. Her heart and smile would light up the darkest rooms. She was the person who would come into your life and leave the biggest impact. To say she loved and cared with all her heart for those around her would be an understatement. When someone was in need, she would drop anything and everything to be there for them. She always had a shoulder to lean on. She was the backbone of her family, friends, communities, and neighborhoods. Especially when it comes to dogs. Sherri would take in any and every dog that she could and would love them as if they were her own. If you couldn’t find her helping at a local dog shelter, she would be tending her garden from sunup to sundown, cheering on her St Louis Cardinals, or spending time with her family. She was truly one of the most blessed souls that you would ever meet

Ms. Buzick was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Grove.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Hickenbottom of Morton, IL and Keith Hickenbottom of Franklin, TN; mother, Cathy Jo Rexroad of FL; and brother, Craig Allen (Vanessa) Grove of Mattoon, IL.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1025 Church, 1025 East Spring Street Monroe, Georgia 30655 with Pastor Tommy Fountain Sr. officiating.
