Mrs. Barbara Sanderson Wagner

Mrs. Barbara Sanderson Wagner, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, her 87th birthday. Born on February 20, 1938, she lived a life rich in faith, love, and dedication to her family, and her legacy will be cherished by those who knew her.

Barbara was of the Methodist faith, and her commitment to her beliefs was reflected in her daily life. She held a profound love for Jesus Christ, which guided her actions and interactions with others. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she created a warm and welcoming home that brought joy to others. Among her many interests, Barbara was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time outside. She had a love for birds and animals.  

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George Roberts Wagner Jr., her father, David Lawrence Sanderson, and her mother, Florence Fisher Sanderson.

She is survived by her sons, James Wagner of Paw Paw, Michigan, and David Wagner of Lawrenceville. Barbara took great pride in her five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday March 2, 2025, at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM. A graveside service will take place at Barrow Memorial Gardens on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
