Michael (Mike) Shannon, age 63, of Auburn, Georgia passed away January 3, 2021 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mike was born March 9, 1957. He was preceded by his father, Clarence Shannon and a sister, Cathy Shannon.
Mike was raised in Oswego in upstate NY where he graduated from High School. After serving in the United States Marine Corp, he worked as a carpenter with various commercial construction firms throughout his life. Mike had been a resident of Auburn, Georgia since 1992. Most recently he was a member of North Dacula Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Michael’s hope that he loved to share with family, neighbors, and friends was that of a restored paradise earth where he and everyone will then enjoy true peace along with perfect and restored health.
Surviving are Wife, Adele Shannon of Auburn, Georgia, Sons, Michael Shannon and Robby Shannon both of New York, Siblings, Timmy (Chris) Shannon of Oswego, New York, Billy (Adrienne) Shannon of Atlanta, Georgia, Colleen Shannon of Oswego, New York, Terrie (Don) Bort of Fulton, New York, Karen Shannon of Charlotte, North Carolina, a number of Grandchildren, Best Friend, Ricky Finch, Cousin, Johnny Bletch, Several Nieces and Nephews.
