Miguel Kavanaugh, age 78, of Dacula Georgia, passed away on Friday April 12, 2024.
He arrived here from Honduras in 1970 and served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Miguel was well respected for his skilled printing ability and also worked for several years at John F. Kennedy Airport.
At the time of his death, Miguel was survived by his lovely wife of 50 years Mary-Elaine Kavanaugh; daughters Marlinda and Marisa; son-in-law Kahron Hogans; grandchildren Maya, Michael, Kahron Jr., and Carin of New York; brother Guillermo (Billy) Kavanaugh and his wife Suyapa of Costa Rica; sisters Virginia Kavanaugh of Honduras, Marcia Mullins of Jamaica, and Betty Kavanaugh of Switzerland; beloved uncle Ernest Polite of Texas; his aunt Dorothy Belcarris and uncles Junior and David Kavanaugh of Massachusetts; sister-in-law Josiane Robinson of Florida; brothers-in-law Alain Robinson and Claude Robinson of New York; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
While we mourn Miguel’s loss, we believe that we will all be together again one day as was promised to us.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
