Michael Anthony Mcnew

Mr. Michael Anthony McNew, age 64, of Winder, Georgia passed away on June 9, 2022. A former resident of Johnson City, Tennessee, he was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nancy Hicks McNew and brother, Randy Wade McNew. He had lived on Boone Lake for thirty years, where he loved his family and nature. Mr. McNew was a custom home builder with his dear friend Charlie Counts.

Surviving are Daughter and Son-in-law, Niki and Daniel Lang of Winder, Georgia, Grandsons, Jackson Lang and Garrison Lang, Brother, Marty McNew, Brother and Sister-in-law, Jeff and Shelly McNew all of Bristol, Virginia, Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Donna and Larry Lawless of Kingsport, Tennessee, Michelle and Steve Knight of Piney Flats, Tennessee, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

A Service will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Sawnee View Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, Georgia 30040 with Rev. Greg Moore officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
