Mary Lanell Etheridge

Mrs. Mary Lanell Etheridge age 97, of Winder, Georgia passed away July 17, 2018. A Daughter of the late Henry and Lula Walden Canup, she was preceded by and infant son Roger Etheridge, her husband Jonah Etheridge in 1965, a son Willie Etheridge in 2016, sisters Betty Griffeth and Bertie Bell, brothers, W.D. Canup, Henry Canup, Jr., Ralph Canup, and James Canup. Mrs. Etheridge was a member of Winder First Baptist Church. A seamstress, she had been employed by Cherokee Manufacturing Company.

Family members include Daughter and Son-in-law, Barbara and Jackie McDaniel of Winder, Sisters, Latrell White of Bethlehem, Ann Hawkins of Winder, Brothers, Clyde Canup, Donnie Canup and Mack Canup all of Winder, Four Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, and Six Great Great Grandchildren.


The Family will receive friends Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Dr. John Talley and Rev. Chad Mantooth officiating. Interment will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula.
