Mary Ellen Cowart

Mrs. Mary Ellen Cowart, age 66, of Winder, Georgia passed away December 17, 2020. Mrs. Cowart was born March 9, 1954 in Duluth, Georgia to the late J. D. and Elizabeth Craig Bryan. She was preceded by Her Husband, Harold D. Cowart, Sr., and Sister, Jennifer Holland. Mrs. Cowart was a member of Oak Grove Independent Baptist Church, and was employed as a secretary at Liquidation Mart in Winder.

Surviving are Children, Jennifer Nicole (Tim) Cyran of Gainesville, Georgia, Harold D. (Rachel) Cowart, Jr. of Roopville, Georgia and Amanda Ellen (Tim) Chadwick of Talking Rock, Georgia, Nine Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, Siblings, Angela Vandiver of Oakwood, Georgia, Ben Day of Carrollton, Georgia and Beverly Steed of Fruithurst, Alabama.

The Family will receive friends Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 2:00 P. M. until 5 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 3:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Black and Mr. Harold Cowart, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
