Mrs. Margaret Ann Ozburn, age 71, of Commerce, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023 after a brief, but well fought battle with cancer.
Mrs. Ozburn was a native of Du Quoin, Illinois and retired from Target.
Mrs. Ozburn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Newborn and her grandson, Andrew "Andy" Ozburn.
Mrs. Ozburn is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Jerry Wayne Ozburn of Commerce; sons, Greg (Amy) Ozburn of Winder and Rich (Meighan) Ozburn of Hoschton; sister, Pam (Bill) Moore of Edwardsville, IL; brothers, Robert Newborn of Du Quoin, IL, and Ben Newborn of Tamaroa, IL; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, and Baleigh Ozburn, Haleigh and Jeremy Scoles.
Per the request of Mrs. Ozburn, a private family gathering will be held.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
