Linda Charlene Walker, 70, died peacefully Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, in her home in Auburn, Georgia.
She was born on December 11th, 1951 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, the daughter of Johnny and Lillie Mae Walker.
She married the love of her life, Phil Peppers, on August 25th, 1972. Phil survives.
Linda lived in East Point until 1977, before moving to Winder. She worked for over 25 years at Tara Materials and was a faithful member of Carl Baptist Church for more than 30 years. She shared a passion for cars with her husband but found the most joy later in her life by spending time with her grandchildren. Two months before her passing she was able to attend a World Series game where she watched the Atlanta Braves win at home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: two children, Dusty Peppers and his wife Kelley, of Winder GA., Erin Marks and her husband, Justin, of Nashville TN; four grandchildren, Brody and Laney Peppers, and Olivia and Presley Marks. Linda is also survived by three siblings: John Walker, Mary Walker, and Kory Walker.
The Family will receive friends Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at Carter Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 2:00 P. M. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tom Ham officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
