Leroy Martin

Mr. Leroy Martin, age 77, of Statham, Georgia passed away March 15, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Martin was born March 22, 1944 in Commerce, Georgia to the late Clyde and Annie Haynes Martin. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Doris Nix Martin in 2009, and Siblings, Charles Martin, Aubry Martin, Lawrence Martin, Larry Martin and Retha Nell Coggins. Mr. Martin was of the Baptist Denomination and was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retiree of NuAir of Georgia.

Surviving are Children, Karen King, Donald Martin and Deneise Martin all of Statham, Georgia, Mary Ann McDaniel of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Patty (Larry) Fortner of Commerce, Georgia, Nita Tourrett of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Sandra (Bill) Hodgens of Jefferson, Georgia and Carol Byrd of Gainesville, Georgia, Twenty-one Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren also survive.

The Family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mercy Baptist Church Cemetery.
