Rev. Leon Pass, age 90, of Statham, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Rev. Pass served faithfully in the ministry for over sixty years. He was the former Pastor of Tallassee Road Church of God for more than twenty years and retired as the Senior Pastor of New Life Worship Center in Statham. He loved his friends, family, and Lord dearly.
Rev. Pass is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Dooley Pass; parents, Thomas Autwell Pass and Claudine L. Pass; and four siblings.
Rev. Pass is survived by his son, Brian (Leisha) Pass of Statham; sister, Wynell Grizzle of Arizona; three grandchildren, Brandon Pass, Lauren (Drake) Price, and Lacey Pass; and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service to honor the life of Rev. Leon Pass will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Reardon and Mr. Mike Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home.
The family welcomes flowers or donations may be made to the New Life Worship Center at 1914 Railroad Street Statham, Georgia 30666, the church that Rev. Pass dearly loved.
