Mrs. Lauren Griffeth Anderson, age 37, of Winder, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Lauren graduated from Apalachee High School in 2004 then attended college at the University of West Georgia. Lauren was currently employed with Farmington Hill’s Apartments for the past eight years as a property manager.
Lauren was preceded in death by her fathers Billy Griffeth and Marc Barefield; grandmother, Melba McMillian; grandfathers, Bill Griffeth and Russell Wilbanks; and step-grandfather, Ernie Barefield.
Lauren is survived by the love of her life, Matthew Anderson; her fur baby, Penny; brother, Caleb Barefield; sister, Hannah Barefield (Roger) Yang; mother, Lisa Wilbanks Barefield; special aunt and uncle, Pam and Les Hanson; grandmother, Laura Jean Wilbanks; step-grandmother, Barbara Barefield; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Adam Toluba; brother-in-law, Steven Anderson; mother-in-law, Dawn Anderson; nephew, Nolan Toluba; and a host of extended family and friends also survive.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Lauren Anderson will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home.
