S Kathy Sharpton

Mrs. Kathy Sharpton, age 63, of Auburn, Georgia went to be with Jesus September 15, 2017 surrounded by her family. A native of Barrow County, she was a daughter of the late C. H. and Sadie Carlyle Teal. Kathy had resided in Barrow County for most of her life and was a member of Voice of Hope Church in Monroe, Georgia. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are Husband, Gene Sharpton of Auburn, Children, Amy (Brian) Orr of Winder, Georgia, Nikki (SFC Thomas) Turpin of Columbus, Georgia, Grandchildren, Kaylin Amber Keith, Bailee Turpin, Colton Orr and Weslee Turpin, Siblings, Brenda Huff of Winder, Georgia, Ronnie (Lou) Teal of Carnesville, Georgia and Sandi (Billy) Fricks of Royston, Georgia.

The Family will receive visitors Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. at Carter Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. John Huff officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
