Mr. Junior Thomason, age 76, of Winder, Georgia died April 5, 2016. Mr. Thomason had resided in Barrow County for most of his life and was the son of the late Willie and Laura Bell Dorsey Thomason. He was preceded by a daughter, Missy Thomason in 1998. Mr. Thomason was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and attended Chapel Christian Church. He was a retiree of United Parcel Service in Athens.
Surviving are Wife, Pat Smith Thomason of Winder, Daughters and Sons-in-law, Leigh and Brian Pass of Statham, Shellee and Gary Kyker of Anderson, South Carolina, Grandchildren, Brandon Pass, Lauren Price, Will Kyker, Lacey Pass and Peyton Kyker, and Six Great Grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 5-8 P. M. at Carter Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Stephens officiating.
