Judy Burel Austin

Mrs. Judy Burel Austin, age 70, of Winder, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Austin was a member of Winder First Baptist Church. Judy was married to the love of her life for 37 years and together they built a beautiful life.

Judy is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Danny Austin; along with her parents, Winston Burel and Doris Martin Burel; and nephew, Steve Burel.

Mrs. Austin is survived by her daughters, Kim Hunter and Kelly Macaw both of Winder; son, Jason Austin of Winder; brother, Ronnie (Bonita) Burel of Buford; her grandchildren that she adored, Trent (Courtney) Hunter, Cassie (Tanner) Morton, Morgan Macaw, Brady Macaw, and Jackson Austin; two great-grandchildren, Jace Morton and Colton Hunter; niece, Julie Carlton, great niece, Camryn Carlton, and great nephew, Brady Carlton.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Judy Austin will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Mantooth officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
