Ms. Joy Wood, age 42, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away December 21, 2016. A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Ms. Wood was a retail manager with Dillard's Department Store. She was preceded by a brother, Joseph Andrew Johnson.
Surviving are Fiance, Chris Wood of Hoschton, Children, Kayla West and Cortney West both of Hoschton, Parents, Robert and Dollie Ash Johnson of Jefferson, Grandchild Madeline Faith Nagel, Siblings Phillip (Kimberly) Johnson of Winder, Angie Johnson and Teresa (Hamid) Abdul all of Texas, Rachel (Joe) Ciavarro, Jennifer (Phillip) McCarty all of Loganville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Taffer officiating. Interment will be in the Allen Family Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Friday, December 23, 2016 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
