Mr. Joe Fredrick Porter, age 69, of Statham, Georgia passed away April 21, 2017. Mr. Porter was born June 3, 1947 in Statham, Georgia to the late Quilla and Dorothy Ferguson Porter and was preceded by a brother, Ray Porter. He attended Statham Elementary School and Winder-Barrow High School. Mr. Porter was a Mill Wright and member of Local Union #1263.
He is survived by two children, Bart Porter of Bogart, Georgia and Shana Porter of Hull, Georgia, and their mother, Pat Porter of Hartwell, Georgia, and Three grandchildren, Clint Porter, Clayton Looney and Jada Ruiz. The Family will receive friends Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. at Bob and Nancy Adamson's Barn, 1353 Austin Road, Winder, Georgia 30680.
A committal service will be held at a later date.
