Jean Cook

Mrs. Jean Cook, age 87, of Winder, Georgia passed away May 27, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Cook was born March 6, 1934 in Bogart, Georgia to the late Charles and Coralee Martin Hardigree. She had resided in Barrow County for most of her life and was a member of New Pentecost United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cook was preceded by a Son, Ernie Cook. She was a retired seamstress.

Surviving are Husband, Jack Cook of Winder, Georgia, Children, Cheryl Seagraves of Winder, Georgia, Tracy Cook of Watkinsville, Georgia, Wendy Overstreet of Winder, Georgia and Scott Cook of Franklin, North Carolina, Grandchildren, Tiffany Daniel, Heather Wright, Ryan Overstreet, Patrick Overstreet, Reed Overstreet and Aaron Cook, Seven Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.

The Family will receive friends Sunday, May 30, 2021 at New Pentecost United Methodist Church from 2:30 P. M. until 3:30 P. M. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 P. M. at the Church with Rev. James Mooneyhan officiating. Interment will be in New Pentecost United Methodist Church Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to New Pentecost United Methodist Church, 385 Pleasant Hill Church Road, N. W., Winder, Georgia 30680.
