James Roberts

Mr. James Roberts, age 88, of Winder, Georgia passed away March 29, 2016. Mr. Roberts was born October 1, 1927 in Oconee County, Georgia to the late Hubert and Cassie Gary Roberts. He was preceded by a Son, Phil "Boat" Roberts and Brothers, Sam Roberts and Dorsey Roberts, and Sisters, Frankie Dunn and Betty Ann Brooks. Mr. Roberts was a retired Supervisor at Johns-Manville of Winder.
Surviving is his Wife of 68 years, Betty Miller Roberts of Winder, Children, Terry and Brenda Roberts of Bethlehem, Gail and Jr. Dailey of Winder, Ronnie and Barbara Roberts of Winder, Lynn Roberts and Tammy Hood of Winder, Timmy and Denise Roberts of Winder, Twelve Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, Brothers, Hoyt Roberts of Bethlehem and Pete Roberts of Helen, Sisters, Hazel Chambers of Winder and Girlie Bowles of Bethlehem.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Thursday, March 31, 2016 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Wright officiating. The Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
