Mr. James "Jim" Thomas Schaeffer, age 70, of Auburn, beloved brother of Mary Pat Hayes-Crow of Bolivia, NC and Margaret Anne Schaeffer of Little River, SC, died unexpected from health issues on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at his residence.
He is survived by his two sisters, his nephew Edward B. Hayes, Jr. and his niece, Denise Maria Marsh and two great nephews and one great niece. Jim was a lifelong, devoted Georgia Bulldog fan.
Mr. Schaeffer's wishes were to be cremated, and a memorial will be held at his parents’ gravesites at a later date.
