Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Evers

Mrs. Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Evers, age 77, of Auburn, Georgia passed away October 3, 2019. Jackie was born December 22, 1941 in Miami, Florida. She was preceded by her son, Ronnie Evers and her father, Luther Strickland, her mother, Lucille Strickland Bethea and her step-father, Stewart Bethea. Jackie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carl and was a retired secretary with Century 21 Real Estate.

Surviving are husband, Brian Evers of Auburn, Georgia, sons and daughters-in-law, Donald J. and Amy Evers of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Michael Brian and Susan Evers of Winder, Georgia, five grandchildren, Faith, Amber, Brianna, Madison and Chase, great granddaughter, Eleia, great grandson, Liam, sister, Joan Holtz of Plantation, Florida, brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Patricia Strickland of Seattle, Washington.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 7, 2019 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Ham officiating. Mrs. Evers remains will be cremated after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Auburn Lion's Club or The First Baptist Church of Carl.
