Mr. Henry “Duck” Grier, age 85, of Winder, Georgia passed into eternity on March 5, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Grier was born January 9, 1934 in Winder to Richard and Sybil Smith Grier who preceded him. He had resided in Barrow County for most of his life and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Grier was of the Baptist Denomination and was preceded by son, Daniel Vernon, Grandson, Steven Vernon, Jr., daughter-in-law, Lisa Vernon and brother, James Grier.
Surviving are Wife, Betty Leonard Grier, Son, Steven Vernon and Grandchildren, Stephanie Vernon and Jonathan Vernon.
The Family will receive friends Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4:30 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105
