Harold Buckner

Mr. Harold Buckner, age 94, of Jefferson, Georgia passed away May 27, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Buckner was born September 10, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Robert Lee and Annie Nelson Buckner. He was preceded in death by a Daughter, Janice Marie Crabtree, a Sister, Evelyn Floyd and a Brother, Robert Buckner. Mr. Buckner was a retiree of the U. S. Postal Service and was a Marine Corp Veteran of World War II, a former resident of Lilburn and Auburn, Georgia, he was a member of the Auburn First Baptist Church.

Surviving are Wife, Carolyn Bernice Burnsed Buckner of Jefferson, Georgia, Son and Daughter-in-law, Jeffery Brant and Susanne Buckner of Winterville, Georgia, Daughter and Son-in-law, Jennifer Lynn and Lamar Rocker of Augusta, Georgia, Nine Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren and Ten Nieces and Nephews.

The Family will receive friends Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 1:30 until 2:30 at The Auburn First Baptist Church, where the Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 with Rev. Chris Parkin officiating. Interment will follow in The Auburn City Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 449, Winder, Georgia 30680. “Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea our God is merciful.
