Mrs. Gail Stewart Martin, age 64, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hillman Martin; parents, Frank Stewart and Ola House Stewart; son, Shane Martin; and siblings, Larry, Junior, Dennis, and Doug Stewart.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, Chavine (Terry) Watkins of Bethlehem, and Shalon (Benjamin) Sweatt of Rockmart; siblings, Patsy Stewart of Athens and Danny Stewart of Watkinsville; four grandchildren, Jacob Watkins, Clayton (Kimberly) Watkins, Ashtyon Gass, and Wyatt Watkins; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Gail Martin will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Nathaniel Dubois and Rev. Paul Wimpey officiating. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
