Frances J. Walden

Mrs. Frances J. Walden, age 91, of Winder, Georgia passed away September 5, 2016. A Native of Barrow County, Mrs. Walden was a Daughter of the late Samuel H. and Mary Etta Mize Jordan. She was preceded by Her Husband, Willie T. Walden, Daughter, Brenda W. Odum and Son, Jerald W. Walden. Mrs. Walden was a homemaker and was a Member of Winder Christian Church.

Surviving are Children, Bill and Joyce Walden of Winder, Ellis and Jackie Walden of Winder, Richard Walden of Sharpsburg, Teresa and Bob Hixson of Watkinsville, Lisa and Robert Roux of Winder, Sisters, Dorothy J. Norton of Tucker and Norma Jean Webb of Florida, Son-in-law, Gerald Odum of Campton and Sister-in-law, Ruby Jordan of Snellville. Seventeen Grandchildren and a host Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6-8 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Morris officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
