Mrs. Evelyn Sturdivant Summers, age 84, of Conyers, Georgia died Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
Born in Bethlehem, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Odessa Still Sturdivant. She was preceded by her husband of 29 years Jack E. Summers in 2006, two sisters, Ina Treadway in 2005 and Pauline Reaves in 2006. A member of First Baptist Church in Conyers, Mrs. Summers retired from Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta with 30 years of service and was a lifetime member of the Atlantic Athletic Club.
Surviving are Niece, Brenda & John Fleeman of Winder, Nephews, Roger & Joyce Rutledge of Winder, Dan Treadway of Atlanta, Wayne Treadway of Atlanta, Steven & Dale Treadway of Atlanta, J.D. & Stella Treadway of Danielsville.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 with the Funeral at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Winder. Rev. Frank Bernat will officiate. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers.
