Evelyn Loretta Dotson

Mrs. Evelyn Loretta Dotson, age 90, of Winder, Georgia passed away October 3, 2023 at her residence. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, she had resided here for the past 35 years, and was a former resident of Peytona, West Virginia. Mrs. Dotson was preceded by her husband, Franklin Roosevelt Dotson, daughter, Evelyn McCourt, and parents, James and Tressie Price. She had served as a surgical technician at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, West Viginia, and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

The Family will receive friends Monday, October 9, 2023 from 1:00 P. M. until service time. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:30 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are daughters, Deborah (Larry) Grass of Madison, West Virginia and Rhonda Vickers of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, Grandchildren, April McCourt and Melissa (Matt) Deangelo.
