Douglas James Gabriel

Mr. Douglas James Gabriel, age 78, of Winder, Georgia passed away November 23, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 14, 1942 in Colbert, Georgia to the late James Crawford and Lois Williams Gabriel. Mr. Gabriel was a U. S. Army Veteran and was a member of The Winder Christian Church. He was preceded by a half-brother, Dale Poulnott and was a truck driver with Lanier Produce.

Surviving are Wife, Susan Brock Gabriel of Winder, Siblings and Spouses, Geneva & Oliver Stamey of Jefferson, Georgia, Doyle Gabriel of Fairbanks, Alaska, George & Wilma Gabriel of Crawford, Georgia, Dan & Chrystal Gabriel of Jasper, Georgia, Ricky & Shirley Gabriel of Crawford, Georgia, Teresa & David Yonce of Athens, Georgia and Terry & Heidi Gabriel of Fairbanks, Alaska.

The Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Minister Jim Morris and Minister Josh Hicks officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
