Mr. Douglas Carter, age 79, of Winder, Georgia died June 18, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of Barrow County, he was a son of the late Pasco and Seanie Kilgore Carter. He was a retiree of Johns-Manville and was of the Baptist Denomination.
Surviving are Wife, Melia Ann Vanderford Carter, son, Michael Carter both of Winder, Grandchildren, Marlana Carter of Canton and Dalton Carter of Billings, Montana, Brother, Herman Carter of Hoschton.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Fleeman officiating. Interment will be in the Carl Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home. The Family requests that flowers please be omitted.
