Mrs. Doris J. Manders, age 88, of Winder, Georgia passed away September 5, 2017. Mrs. Manders was born in Barrow County on June 9, 1929 to Jewel and Lizzie Elder Wilkerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Hubert Manders and son, Bruce Manders. She was employed for many years by Barrow Medical Center and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Surviving are Children, Tina Crain of Monroe, Georgia, Lamar Manders of Winder, Georgia and Mark Manders of Valdosta, Georgia, Six Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Sister, Ola Daniel of Winder, Georgia.
The Family will receive friends Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
