Mrs. Deane Pierce Poole, age 81, of Braselton, Georgia died December 8, 2016. Born in Barrow County on July 30, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mamie Pierce. Mrs. Poole was preceded by her husband, David Lee Poole, Jr., on April 11, 2016 and a daughter, DeAnn Pollard O'Kelley on March 1, 2016. Mrs. Poole was a retired Real Estate Broker.
Surviving are Daughter and Son-in-law, Teresa Pollard Foster and Curtis Foster of Hoschton, Georgia, and Cynthia Pollard of Denver, Colorado, Grandchildren, Lauren Singley, Ryan Wooten and Sean O'Kelley, Great Grandchildren, Lincoln Singley and Carter Singley.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Geoffrey Grubbs officiating. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 until 11:00 A. M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lake Country Shakers Parkinson's Support Group, C/O St. Paul United Methodist Church, 404 Washington Street, N. W., Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
