Mr. Darrell Lee Rhine, age 74, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Mr. Rhine was a jack of all trades. He retired as a contractor, but also was a professional motorcycle painter, fisherman, and teacher. He truly enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He will be best remembered by his family as a loving and caring father and grandfather to many. To be simply put, Mr. Rhine was “the man, the myth, the legend.”
Mr. Rhine was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Fern Rhine; and brother, Marlin Rhine.
Mr. Rhine is survived by his children; Jessica (Eric) Taylor of Sugar Hill, Alex Rhine of Kingston, NY, and Briar Rhine of Winder; stepsons, Brandon LaPoint, Jesse Hernandez, and Moon Lake all of Buford; and four grandchildren, Anna and Olivia Taylor, Evan Banks, and Logan Rhine.
A memorial service will be held and will be announced at a later date.
