Mr. Charles L. McDonald, age 82, of Winder, Georgia passed away April 30, 2021 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Barrow County, he was born April 28, 1939 to the late Lonnie and Vera Perkins McDonald. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley McDonald. Charles was a member of Midway Christian Church and was employed by Pet Milk and Barrow County Buildings and Grounds prior to his retirement.
Surviving are wife, Martha Allen McDonald of Winder, Georgia, Children, Cindy (Joey) Cofer, and Robbie Hardigree, all of Winder, Georgia, Jeanette (Tim) McElhannon of Bethlehem, Georgia, Grandchildren Jonathan Hicks, Emily (Bryan) Kohut, Joseph Emmett and Annie Grace McElhannon, Great Grandchildren, Jeremiah Kohut and Hudson Kohut.
A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 P. M. at Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
